Thank you for visiting with us here at The Groovy Pad! My name is Julie Herrell and I am the owner and creator of the hottest new "Retro" party place for kids, pre-teens and teens. I am the proud mom of four girls and have been planning parties for 20 years, so I consider myself an expert on "What a Girl Wants".

Girls want a place to let their hair down, laugh, and have fun. Moms want the hottest place for their girls to party that is safe, fun, and budget friendly!

The Groovy Pad was created out of a need for my daughters to have a safe and fun place to have birthday & slumber parties, all the rage for girls these days! After talking with other moms we figured out that there is no place for girls to go and do what girls do best: sing, dance, giggle, and laugh. Thus, The Groovy Pad was created in my home in the Fall of 2004 with the help of my oldest daughter who was then 7 years old.

The Groovy Pad became so popular that we moved to a larger location in West Knoxville in May 2006. We outgrew that facility and moved to West Town Mall for a year. Although everyone seemed to enjoy us being in the mall, all arrows pointed us towards Turkey Creek in August 2010. Our move has NOT disappointed us. The people of Farragut have welcome us with open arms!
