1. Can boys come to The Groovy Pad?
Yes. They can come for the day parties but we DO NOT under ANY
circumstance allow co-ed sleepovers for the slumber parties.

2. Is a deposit required to book my party?
Yes. We require a 50% (of your total party cost) non-refundable deposit to hold your date and
time. If you notify us 24 hours or more prior to your party that you are not
going to be able to have the party then you may reschedule for a $20 rescheduling
fee. The rescheduled party must be held within 6 months of original party
date or all deposit money is forfeited.

3. Is there a damage deposit?
No. However, if you or your guests cause damage and/or mess in excess
of $25 to The Groovy Pad then the person who booked the party will be
responsible for the cost of repair or additional clean up.

4. Should I arrive early for my party?
We keep a precise schedule at The Groovy Pad. You may shop in our
retail store at The Groovy Pad if you arrive early.

5. Can I bring outside food to our party?
Due to health department regulations we are not allowed to have
food served that is prepared at your home. If you want to bring in food
for your party the food must be in prepacked containers AND in individual
servings (i.e. no 2 liter bottles but individual cans are ok). You may also
bring in food from a restaurant like pizza or party trays. All food that
is to be brought in must be approved by the owner, Julie Herrell, prior to your party.

6. Is there an extra charge for adults or limit on number of adults?
No. There are no additional charges for adults at the children's parties
if we are not serving them food. However, for space consideration and capacity limits we do
not recommend more then 1 adult per child. Nor do we recommend bringing
adults that cannot tolerate loud music or low seating areas. The capacity limit per room
at The Groovy Pad is 20 people excluding our staff. Therefore, if you have 15
children scheduled then only 5 adults may be in the room with the children or with
10 children you can have 10 adults etc. Additional adults may wait in one of our other
rooms for their children's party to be completed.

7. Is refrigeration available for extra food/beverages?
Yes. A full sized refrigerator/freezer is available for
individual/prepackaged servings of beverages, ice cream, and other
snacks. A microwave is also
available.

8. Should supervising adults attend a child's party?
One adult must be present at every day party for children over age 6 and two
adults for every slumber party. An Adult is defined as anyone 18 years of age and older.
One adult must be present for every three children ages 2-6 for our Camp Groovy and
Princess Pad parties.

9. Is supervision provided for my children?
No. The Groovy Pad is here to provide your children with entertainment
and fun for their party, not babysitting services. We are not responsible
for children that wander off, damage property, or injure other children.
This is the responsibility of the parent to make sure that their children act
appropriately just as if they were in any other public place. Please note also that children
must remain inside The Groovy Pad at all times during their scheduled party time. After the party
they must exit to their cars only.

10. What if parents haven't arrived to pick up children at the end of the party time?
Due to limited parking space and the arrival of guests for the next
event we ask that you leave The Groovy Pad parking area as quickly as possible
upon the conclusion of your party. Because we understand that it is fun to
chat after a party we ask that you make arrangements to meet elsewhere to
catch up on events or to meet parents that might be tardy in picking up their
children.
