THE GROOVY PAD CAMPS:
Camps run June 7, 2010 thru July 30, 2010. Call for specific dates of each camp. Camps are available for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days each week from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m and 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. depending on which camp you choose. Cost for a one day camp is $45, two day camps are $80, three day camps are $110, four day camps are $135 and 5 day camps are $155 each week. All camps are offered Monday thru Friday and you may choose the 1,2,3,4 or 5 days you want your child to attend each week. Camps are for children ages 3 to 14. All camps are offered twice during the summer. Once during June and once during July, see below for specific dates. Children need to pack a lunch (if attending camp from 9am to 1pm) or snack (if attending camp from 1pm to 5pm) and wear casual clothes during camp.
All campers MUST BE POTTY TRAINED before they can attend any camp and have an emergency registration form on file. Child care is available before and after camps based on availability. Please see the manager for details.
Cowboys/Cowgirls and Indians. Children ages 3 to 8 will love our Cowboy/Cowgirl and Indian adventures while learning about the Wild West and Native Americans in this adventure of crafts, books, games and discovery. Every child will take home their own Cowboy/girl hat and bandana along with some exciting crafts they will make as they learn about the first Americans in this rustic adventure in our Limitation Imagination Room.
Pirates and Princesses.. Our most popular camp! Children ages 3 to 8 will embark on an adventure they will never forget as they transform into Pirates and Princesses and go aboard our pirate ship of adventure in our Limitation Imagination and Princess Rooms. Stories, crafts, games and treasure hunts of learning all make this a magical adventure not soon to be forgotten. Every child will take home special Pirate/Princess accessories each day of their adventure.
Mad Scientist Camp.. Children ages 4 to 10 will LOVE this awesome new camp with fun science experiments and learning through hands on FUN! Your child won't be able to stop talking about all the excitement of their day!
Magic School Bus Adventures.. Undersea, through the Air, in the forest, where will our magic school bus land today? Boys and Girls ages 3 to 8 will love the adventures, entertainment, imagination and new skills they will learn as they explore places they have never been before! Relive the excitement of their day as they bring home special activities each day of their exploration!
The Tween Groove.. Back by popular demand! Our tween Groove camp for girls ages 6 to 14 is where girls will come to build self esteem, acquire confidence and feel comfortable in the beautiful young women they are becoming while enjoying a full range of Groovy Pad activities. Day 1 is Luau Day, Day 2 is 50's Sock Hop Day, Day 3 is Retro Day, Day 4 is Rock Star Day (Hannah Montana, High School Musical etc.), Day 5 is Hollywood Stars Day. Pampering (hair/makeup/nails done), scrapbooking, singing, dancing, jewelry making and so much more make this such a popular camp we have to do it 2 different weeks each month instead of 1! This one fills up fast so reserve your spot soon!
Cooking Fun!!.. NEW! This Camp was so popular during Spring Break, we are bringing it back for the summer! Children ages 6 and up will enjoy getting their hands active in a fun and YUMMY time of learning and laughter. Each day will bring new knowledge of kitchen safety and nutrition along with yummy recipes to try and take home to share with family!
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: All camp fees are non-refundable. The Groovy Pad reserves the right to cancel any camp and will fully refund payments if the store cancels the camp. An emergency medical form must be filled out and a Medical Release signed before any child can attend camp events, this will be mailed to you at the end of May and you will return the form the first day of camp attendance.
